Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, location, or other term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Jackson County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, we use the information in that message to read it, respond, and handle the issue raised. We do not share contact messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.

Oregon public-records access and exemptions are mainly governed by ORS chapter 192, but after a visitor leaves this site, the privacy policy and terms of the destination site control that visit.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity or show interest-based ads across websites. Those tools operate under the partner's data practices, not under Jackson County government or this site's control.
